SWide upgraded its ISO certificate to ISO 9001:2008 standards during its first surveillance audit held on 26 Jun 2009 by LRQA. SWide has set various Quality objctives to meet the customer demands with high quality deliverables.
SWide Solutions spaced out its office much closer to the city in a 2100 Sq.ft area that consists of over 30+ developer cabins facilitated by the commercial infrastructure. Its basic Infrastructure is powered with acer P4 PCs with 2GB RAM. The setup also includes Servers (IBM xSeries and Dell PowerEdge series) with 4GB RAM and over 160GB HDD. All the electronic equipments were put under an efficient online UPS further supported by an automatic generator. Our staffs end devices are connected to a 512KBPS leased line (burstable upto 2MBPS) and a 1 MBPS Broadband as backup.
SWide received its ISO 9001:2000 certificate of approval from LRQA on Jan 14 2009. The final assessment was held on 31 Dec 2008. In continuation, SWide has planned to move towards higher levels of Quality committments. Also SWide would migrate to ISO 9001:2008 during the first surveillance audit.
SWide crossed its milestone by successfully bagging the ISO certification (recommendation as) on 31st Dec 2008. LRQA, the assessment partner, evaluated the SWide Quality Management System on this day and published certification recommendation. By this, SWide provides assurance to its customers that Quality is a continual (ever growing) process in the organization and SWide would surpass customerís expectations on areas like productivity, performance and delivery

One more milestone for SWide Solutions in the Year 2008 is ISO certification. SWide has signed an agreement with LRQA to be its assessment partner.It would take four months to complete the implementation in the organization which includes, awareness training to the resources, Implementation of systems which encompass ISO 9001:2000, documentation of manual & procedures, system training, internal auditor training, one cycle of internal audit and management review meeting.
Stage1Audit is planned in Nov 08 (covering document review, adequacy assessment) and Stage2 (certification assessment) is planned on Dec 08.
Since the current focus is on Japan, SWide Solutions has decided to offer language support to its client. It has chosen Hayakawa enterprise to be their Japanese language trainer. The Employees will undergo JLPT L4 Training (JLPT, is a standardized test to evaluate and certify the language proficiency of non-native Japanese speakers). The Training duration is 150 hrs starting from Apr 08 to Dec 08. They would be exposed to the elementary level of Japanese like culture, scripts, day to day living etc. They would be trained to know about 800 words in Japanese, around 120 Kanji, read and write simple sentences in Japanese.
The entire team will undertake the certificate exam on Dec 7th, 2008 conducted by the JLPT.
The Employees of SWide will undergo a Leadership course from Mar 07 to Sept 07. It is a comprehensive program on personality development. This intensive attitudinal development training program is conducted on the premise of behavioural science to enhance the basic life skills such as decision making, problem solving, communication skills and business etiquettes of the employee.
This Training Program is mainly conducted to set forth a professional working environment and a positive culture to our employees as well as for the new entrants where they can easily adapt themselves. To enable this SWide has signed a contract with Zeal, Chennai, to be their soft skill trainer.
